A well-furnished and comfortable apartment, we feel it's perfect for a couple.  It’s on the third floor, via 52 easy steps, no elevator.
Appia is a two-room apartment featuring a living/dining room with kitchenette and a window overlooking the Colosseum. The kitchen is complete with everything including a small oven and a small dishwasher. The separate bedroom with queen-size bed has a window overlooking the Basilica of Santi Quattro.  There's a smart TV with Netflix and the usual channels.  The bathroom is en-suite with a walk-in shower and a window.  Climate control is provided by a combo A/C-heating unit. 

The Celio neighbourhood is charming, safe, friendly, and welcoming, with cafés, trattorias, wine bars, small shops, bike rentals, supermarkets, excellent produce stand, and metro and bus stops close at hand.  Not to mention the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill, Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, all in the immediate surroundings, along with lovely parks and walks.
